Third Eye and Worry

Do you worry all the time?! We all do it, but some of us are overwhelmed by it. We try to stop but it is like we have no control. Sometimes it feels like the only thought we have when we think of our loved ones. We worry about their safety, their future, their health, grades, and their social lives. We sometimes imagine the worst. Envisioning them fighting, hurt, in an accident, or suffering in some way. We excuse our imagined fears as our love for them. We love them, so we need to worry about them, right? It shows them how much we love them when we constantly call them or express our worries, right?

Say it ain’t so, say it ain’t so!  

The Physical effect of Worry/Anxiety

According to WebMD; Higher levels of anxiety can trigger those stress hormones that make your heart beat faster and harder. If this happens over and over, your blood vessels may get inflamed, leading to hardened artery walls, unhealthy cholesterol levels, and other problems.  

You Are Not Alone

You are not alone in your worry! Trust me! I have suffered with what feels like crippling, debilitating imagined fear. Like many of you, I described it as a healthy level of worry because I loved my children. But there were times that I felt like I suffered in silence because my imagination would see them in horrible situations and I thought, what Mother would do that?! My reaction to these thoughts was always anger. Not for them, but for me even thinking of them in such a negative way.

A few years ago, I realized it was a learned response. I was speaking to my mom one evening when she was arguing with me about someone questioning her love for her three kids. She said, “I love all three of you the same. I worry about you and your brother, just as much as I worry about your sister!” WHAT!?! I couldn’t believe she said that! It clicked at that moment. It is a trauma response from the years she worried about me. Her unconscious and learned behavior from her parents created a space for me to be susceptible to imagined fears. It created an imbalance in my Sixth Chakra, the Third Eye.

The Third Eye Chakra

The Third eye principle, in short, is to see and understand yourself and everything around you for what they truly are (both physically and spiritually) and make wise decisions without the need for ego satisfaction. It is your self-perception, self-awareness, and illusion. The health of the Third eye chakra influences the illusions it creates.

It is Not JUST your Imagination, It IS your Imagination!

Imagined fear and creative vision are made of the same imaginary stuff. One constricts and disempowers you, while the other fills you with revitalized inspiration. 

For a moment, let’s skillfully direct our imagination. Let’s use it to imagine a life where the burden of your worries is lifted! A life where you protected them with angel wings instead of seeing them alone in a dark lonely ditch. Imagine the feeling that comes from your conscious direction to protect with LOVE vs WORRY. You trust your visions. You have faith that all will be well.

Our Third eye is where we choose to send love vs worry to our loved ones. It is where we have the power to use our imagination to bless them. The Third eye is our vision of what we see and what we want to see. The Throat Chakra helps you see the truth behind all situations and experiences. We can see the truth behind the fear-mongering with a healed and balanced Throat and Third eye together. We can “see” and sense the collective fear of society that dominates the earth’s astral field. It is thick and ever-present. It will never go away, so we have to be vigilant and learn how to compensate. 

How To Protect Using Your Third Eye

When I was learning to release the fear and change how I used my imagination for protection vs worry, it took some practice and healing. Fortunately, I already had a sense that I could protect. It’s hard to explain, but it felt like a gift. Something that came with me in this life. When I called on Archangel Michael, he came to me and my family but as I evolved in my spiritual practice I became aware that I was not separate from Archangel Michael, and he was not separate from me. I used this awareness to protect my children. 

Before I went to sleep, I would lay in bed with my eyes closed. Center myself with 2-3 deep belly breaths and I imagine my two boys, one at a time. I would see them in whatever situation that I felt drawn to seeing them, sleeping in their beds, sitting on the couch, whatever felt right. I would then see Archangel Michael hover over them. The first time I saw it, he had huge wings made of metal. He hovered over each of them, and I saw him lock his wings over them. They were protected. I saw it. I felt it. With a deep breath, I allowed my faith to dominate. It was done.  

Send them angels! Send your loved ones protection, love, and positive energy! Empower them with your faith! 

Word and Thoughts

Awareness is the key to rising above our learned reactions and the ever-present fear “energy field” from the collective. The collective is society. I was inspired by the book The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. It helped me to see how my thoughts impacted my loved ones, my children.

His book spoke of our words vs thoughts, but they are equally powerful. They are both energy that impacts the human body. (More about how that works below). According to Don Miguel Ruiz, our unconscious words cast a spell. Our words deriving from our fear, worry, anger, and frustration, create a spell upon the intended target. An agreement is created within their belief system when they hear our unconscious words. In other words, they begin to believe what they are told and an agreement is made within their psyche. Without awareness, these spells shift their entire lives. The negative words altered the energy centers of their body, their Chakras. Embedding in their cells. Causing a trauma within that energy center or chakra, creating an imbalance.  

Words and thoughts are not so different. Spoken word can have an immediate energetic consequence on their chakras and beliefs. Thoughts, on the other hand, are carried through an energy field. Over time impacting on our energy centers. To understand this, let’s review how our thoughts and energy are connected. 

How Energy Works

Let’s start with the scientific fact that all matter on Earth is made of atoms. And when I say “all” – I am referring to every-single-thing! Atoms are tiny building blocks of life made up of clusters of electrons, protons, and neutrons. They’re essentially mini packets of energy with incredible power. This means that everything, including you, is energy. And energy, including yours, has a powerful and measurable influence on other energy.

Furthermore, there’s a scientifically proven “field” of energy that exists everywhere, is always around us – and most importantly, connects us. Many scientists refer to it simply as “The Energy Field”. Since this field connects all our energy, it’s possible for us to be influenced, and to influence others, through it. This means no matter where anything or anyone is in this world, at an energetic level, we are all connected. As such, whenever there’s a connection, there’s the ability to create an effect through that link.

This is where you have to consider your thoughts of worry and fear. Just like an energy healer focuses on someone, sending healing energy to them, so are you sending negative energy when you worry.  It is carried through this Energy field!  

What Are You Sending Them?

 My thoughts of fear were energetically going directly to my children. Engulfing them in my imagined fear instead of love!

How I understand it

Imagine sending a framed painting of black gunk as a gift to your children. A painting that they had to see every day before they started their day. A dark and horrific picture mixed with melting tar and tortured faces staring back at them. This painting represents your thoughts of worry. Every day they receive this energy from you. You are bombarding them with your energetic imagination. Can you imagine giving your loved ones a painting like this? Probably not.

The last thing you want is for them to see something negative every day. If you would not give them a painting that represents negativity, then why are you “gifting” them your worry? Every day they are receiving this ugly painting through your thoughts of worry. Thinking specifically of them, impacts them directly. They are energetically receiving fear.

Released Imagine Fear

It is time to release this imagined fear! This will not be easy, but with conscious awareness and grounding techniques, you can transform your imagination to send love. 

To fully understand how our Third Eye creates images of fear, we have to go back to the Root Chakra.

The Root Chakra is our survival, primal chakra. It is our fight or flight. It determines whether we feel safe on this earth. When your First Chakra, the Root, is off balance and traumatized by learned fear from our parents and ancestral trauma, among others, it has a “domino” effect on the other Chakras. Imagined fear is the result of the Root chakra affecting the Third eye. It is very common for the lower three “ME” chakras to influence and pull down the higher chakras of “WE” consciousness.

Grounding techniques will help release and heal the ingrained fear in your Root. It will be necessary to work on your Throat and Third eye, but focusing on the fear will make an immediate impact. 

NOTE: The visualization I gave earlier in the article of Archangel Michael protecting my children, is an example of how you can use your imagination to protect vs worry once the fear has been released.

Release Fear Techniques

Techniques to ground the Root chakra and release fear: 

You will hear me mention awareness in this article and many of my other articles. It is there because it is a conscious awareness that starts the healing process. According to www.verywellmind.com, Consciousness refers to individual awareness of your unique thoughts, memories, feelings, sensations, and environments. … This awareness is subjective and unique to you. It is part of your consciousness if you can describe something you are experiencing in words. 

The deepest form of healing is through shadow work. Shadow work is getting in touch with the part of you that you have repressed. Going deep into the unconscious material that shapes our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It can be intense, but the release is empowering.  

In this article, I will simply touch on how to do it for the release of worry.

Journaling is extremely effective, in bringing the unconscious to consciousness.  

To start to shift the fear that is causing an imbalance in your Third Eye, sit with the following questions. Answer them in mediation or your journal. Knowing that no one will ever see it or know your thoughts.

  • What fears and anxieties have you inherited from others?
  • What are you most fearful of and why?
  • What are you unsure of regarding your life?
  • What can you do to reclaim your power over your reality?
  • When I think of my future, what am I most afraid of?

Once you have identified the fears and now they are on the surface, it’s time to release them.

It’s time to see them separate from you.

They are not WHO you are; they are simply an emotion that you are feeling. 

Meditation to Now Cleanse the Chakra

Short Meditation to cleanse the chakras

We are going to keep it simple. 

Sit quietly with your spine straight so energy can flow easily.  

Close your eyes and take two or three deep belly breaths in and out of your nose.  

Focus on your First Chakra, the Root, and envision it as Black, thereby depicting only its unnecessary energy.

Ask the Divine or God to pull the undesirable energy from your chakra, bringing it into heaven to be transformed into love. 

Now activate the color of the Root chakra, which is red. Through intention, see the color emanating brighter and brighter red and push out any remaining negative energy.

With every exhale, see/feel the negative energy leaving.

Breath as many times as you need to until you feel as if your first chakra is vibrant!

You can repeat this for the Throat and Third eye to clean the chakras related to your worry. The Throat color is sky blue and the Third eye is purple. 

Third Eye Prayer

May I be aligned with my Higher Self today and that which is in my soul’s best interest and the best interests of the people I love as well.

May I be purified of the imperfections that cloud the visions of the lotus flower of my spiritual eye. 

CONCLUSION

Do not feel like you are alone in your worry.  We all experience some form of imagined fear throughout different parts of our lives. At times it feels transient; other times it’s debilitating.  But there is hope!  Awaken to the potential of your Third eye. Practice daily meditation using clearing and empowering techniques to release the fear and give your Third eye the power of empowering inspiration. Focus on being present, so when you start worrying, catch yourself.  DO NOT judge yourself at that moment.  Be gentle and loving to your healing process.  Your angels know you are working on yourself and will assist you.  Positive energy will always be more powerful than negative energy, so simply catch yourself and change the thought to love and protection.  They will benefit and so will your psyche!
